Exploding Tags
These are very commonly used, they are thin pieces of paper with the Japanese character ‘baku’ written on it. ‘baku’ simply means ‘explode’ These tags can be placed just about anywhere and will ignite and explode after a short period of time or can either be remotely exploded using one's chakra.

Gas Bombs
Its not often you seen these been used, but when the gas bomb explodes it emited poisonous gases which causes coughing if inhaled.

Light Bombs
This is not often seen used, but when used its explodes giving off a blinding flash of light that blinds or stuns the enemy. The Light bomb is used by shikimaru in his fight with tayuya so he can gain control of her summons.

Smoke Bombs
Smoke bombs are basically equipment all ninja carry, the smoke bomb is used to cause distractions and/or make an escape easier.

Summoning Scrolls
Most ninja who are able to perform summoning jutsu carry these around, you see kakashi use one of these scrolls to summon his hunter dogs.

Wire
Simple thin metal wiring often tied to the kunai or shuriken and thrown to in groups to fasten an enemy to a tree or rock, or for setting up traps.

Fuuma Shuriken
Also known as the windmill shuriken, it is much larger than the regular shuriken, but is collapsible. The fuuma shuriken is more deadly, but has a lower accuracy rate compared to the normal shuriken. Usually used as a main weapon rather than for support.

Kunai
The Kunai is an all purpose knife/dagger .It has a number of uses, such as stabbing the opponent. It is a vital piece of equipment that all ninjas carry.

Puppets
Life sized puppets that are controlled by ‘strings’ of chakra. Useful for ninjas to use from a distance to avoid close combat.

Senbon needles
These needles are mainly used for acupuncture, but some shinobi choose to use them as weapons, if properly trained. Using senbon needles as a weapon requires extreme accuracy and speed in order to hit a vital area of the body.

Shuriken
The shuriken, also known as a ninja star, commonly used but can be deadly. It is small and easy to throw; these can help keep enemies at bay and are a useful support weapon. The shuriken also comes in a larger size, known as the fuuma shuriken.
